Text Box: How our WIRELESS broadband network works The current B.D.S Wireless configuration consists of a number of sites around Malawi. These are connected via Microwave E1 links via the Zain Malawi Headquarters in Limbe, to BDS. All international traffic is routed through multiple dedicated C-Band Satellite links into the European Backbone. The external Link is managed with an advanced Bandwidth Management Box. This ensures a high level of bandwidth management and security. BDS are currently expanding to many of the smaller centres around Malawi. The current infrastructure means that our network is potentially able to reach all areas currently covered on the Zain Mobile Phone Network. This wireless infrastructure caters for all sectors of the market and is constantly being upgraded to keep up with current trends.
